Capacity development for energy management improvement and increasing energy efficiency in public utility/water companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Association for Water and Environmental Protection "Aquasan Network in BiH" is organizing the third one-day workshop within the D-LeaP Capacity Development Program for Improving Energy Management and Increasing Energy Efficiency in Public Utility Companies (PUCs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which will be held on 17 December 2024 in Sarajevo, Hotel Hills (Hotel Hills Sarajevo).

Objective of this D-LeaP Capacity Development Program is to enhance knowledge, skills and competence of PUC management and employees on how to improve energy management and increase energy efficiency and thus reduce operational and financial costs and increase the overall sustainability of PUCs.

The specific objectives of the Third Workshop are:

• To improve the knowledge of participants on efficient and sustainable energy management in the PUCs;
• To support the participants in a planned approach to energy management and increase of energy efficiency in PUCs through developing and implementing action/operational plans;
• To enable the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices on energy management and energy efficiency and thus strengthen cooperation and networking among participants.
